What does the “Gero” in GeroCoffee stand for?
The “Gero” comes from the word Geroscience, which is a field of research that focuses on understanding the relationship between aging and age-related diseases.
The term combines "gero-", from the Greek gerōn, meaning "old man" or "elder", and "science", reflecting its focus on the scientific study of aging.

What makes your coffee the best?
Yes, because we roast-to-order daily, Monday to Friday, to ensure freshness. Our specially selected coffee beans list in the top 2% of beans in the world. Because it’s roast-to-order, most orders are shipped within 2 business days, apart from roasting yourself, you won’t find fresher coffee anywhere online.

What types of coffee beans do you offer?
We offer a variety of beans including Arabica, Robusta, and blends. Each type has unique flavor profiles, from smooth and mild to bold and intense.

Do you offer organic or fair-trade coffee?
Yes, we have a selection of both organic and fair-trade certified coffees, supporting sustainable farming practices and fair compensation for farmers.

Can I grind coffee beans at home?
Absolutely, grinding your beans just before brewing ensures the freshest flavor. We recommend investing in a burr grinder for a consistent grind.

What grind should I choose for my brewing method?
For French press, use a coarse grind; for drip coffee makers, a medium grind; and for espresso, a fine grind. If you're unsure, refer to our grind guide on the website.

How should I store my GeroCoffee coffee?
All GeroCoffee coffee comes in an opaque bag with a gas valve. This packaging keeps out humidity and light, the sworn enemies of fresh coffee. It also allows carbon dioxide (a byproduct of the roasting process) to escape from the bag through the one-way gas valve. You should store unopened bags in a cool dark place, avoid refrigeration as this may cause condensation. After opening you will need to store it at/or below room temperature to retain freshness, ideally in an airtight container.

Do you offer flavored coffees?
Yes, we have a range of flavored coffees (and teas), including vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, and more, all flavored with natural ingredients.

Do you sell decaffeinated coffee?
Yes, we offer several decaffeinated options using both the Swiss Water Process and the CO2 Process.

Do you offer espresso pods or capsules?
Yes, we have a range of espresso pods compatible with most leading machines.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer digital gift cards in various denominations that can be used to purchase any product on our site.

Is there really a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in the world, but if you are outside the USA we recommend using a service like Shop & Ship to keep shipping costs as low as possible.

What shipping carriers do you use?
We primarily use the USPS Flat Rate but we sometimes use others on large orders, we check daily to see who has the most competitive rates.

Can I track my order?
When we ship your coffee, an automatic email with a tracking # will be sent to your email address on file.

How can I change my order after it’s been submitted?
Email us at info@gerocoffee.com if you would like to update or cancel your order. Please include your order number in the email subject. We will always do our best to make changes.

How can I pay?
We accept many digital wallets as well as all major credit and debit cards. Although Digital Wallets are not yet available for Subscribe & Save orders.

Can I subscribe to regular coffee deliveries?
Yes, we offer subscription services where you can choose your favorite coffee and delivery frequency.

Is your checkout secure?
We use Shopify Payments and Stripe, which are among the safest payment processing services on the internet.

Where do I enter a discount code?
On the first checkout page, click “Show Order Summary” to initiate a drop-down menu. Enter your discount code, then click "Apply."
